Cheryl Morgan, MS, PhD, is an educator, international speaker and therapist with over 25 years of experience in the rehabilitation specialties of lymphatic and venous disease and wound care. She is the director of Integrative Therapy Concepts in Prairie Village, KS and specializes in Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD), for medical conditions such as lymphatic and venous disease, cancer recovery, chronic pain and fibromyalgia.
Cheryl has trained and taught in Germany, Austria, Australia and England and teaches the Vodder-based technique for MLD. Additional professional interests include serving on Medicare's Provider Outreach & Education Committee, adjunct faculty for Rockhurst University and board member at large for the National Association of Rehabilitation Agencies. A published author of many journal articles, she recently coauthored a book on the diagnosis and treatment of lymphedema.
Cheryl will teach the manual technique as it applies to scope of practice for MT's. Attendees will learn the anatomy/physiology of the lymphatics and the strokes and applications for the technique. Please bring: tables, sheets, light blanket and massage oil. Cost: $40 prior to June 6, $45 on-site.
